Movie Review: God is Not Dead

By: Dr. Robert Morey

I have a very low opinion of "Christian" movies, as they are usually of low quality with poor acting. They are usually hokey. But the new movie, God Is Not Dead, is the first Christian movie that exceeds my expectations and actually brought me to tears several times. For once, the main Christian character was not a goofball or a nutcase, but an intelligent apologist. I swear that they got some parts of the movie from The New Atheism and the Erosion of Freedom, but I don't know. Go see it, and take your family and church. For once the acting and production are both good. At one point, Muslim accepts Jesus and her father beats her up and throws her out of his home! In another, a Chinese student comes to Christ from atheism. Great!  If you have not read my book, The New Atheism and the Erosion of Freedom, do so soon.
